Organization

Sanquin employs people working in many different disciplines, including donor assistants, doctors, pharmacists, researchers, laboratory technicians and production staff.

Sanquin has a Supervisory Board responsible for the overall monitoring of the organisation’s operations. The Executive Board consists of two members and the chairman. The Executive Board is in charge of daily operations. A number of other advisory councils are also active within Sanquin. 

Sanquin consists of the following organizational units: the Blood Bank, Diagnostic Services B.V., Sanquin Innovation B.V. and Research and Labservices. The Corporate Staff supports these units and advises the Executive Board.
