Molecular diagnostics NGS

Here you can request genetic diagnostics. This concerns both inherited and congenital variants as acquired hematological malignancies, for which single genes or gene panels can be requested. We make use of targeted Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) by using Ion Torrent Technology. Familial variants can be confirmed using Sanger sequencing. Our laboratory is ISO15189 accredited. We strive to have a turn-around-time of four weeks. Our congenital diagnostics are performed under the WBMV (Wet op de Bijzondere Medische Verrichtingen, Law on Special Medical Procedures) license of the AMC/VUmc. This is in accordance with the legal planning decision.
