Donor studies at the ISBT 2018: Who is who?

Five scientists will present their data in Toronto

This year, the ISBT selected five people from our department of Donor Studies to talk about their work in Toronto. We’d like to invite you to ‘join’ us on this journey of the ISBT Conference through two upcoming blog posts from the experiences of Saurabh and Syeldy.

Every summer, the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) hosts a well-known conference in which blood donor and blood transfusion experts from over a hundred countries come together to learn and share their experiences and research. It is a multiple-day conference filled with educational sessions, speakers, and oral and poster presentations. This year, the conference will be held in Toronto, Canada in the first week of June and we are excited to go!

At the Department of Donor Studies we specialize in all things blood donor-related: health, behavior and well-being. This year, we have five people from our department who were selected by ISBT to talk about our work in Toronto.

For now, we’d like to introduce you to ourselves. Please click on our names for more information or if you’d like to get connected. We are looking forward to sharing with you (and the world) about our research!
