ISBT award for Ellen van der Schoot

On June 23, 2019 during the ISBT opening ceremony, two ISBT Awards were granted. One of these awards was given to professor Ellen van der Schoot.
She was praised for her contribution to transfusion research, specifically to blood group genetics and foetal RhD typing, her support of the Young Investigator activities of the ISBT and her role as Scientific Secretary for the ISBT between 2015 and 2018. The award was presented by ISBT President Martin Olsson.
