On 31 January 2020 (10:00) Suzanne Gunnink will defend her thesis 'Not all that glitters is gold – platelet transfusions for preterm neonates'. She demonstrated that a restrictive use of platelet transfusions is better for preterm neonates. Suzanne was lead researcher of the MATISSE study, a collaboration between a.o. Sanquin, UMC/AMC and LUMC.
