Dutch Rheumatology Award for Dr. Gertjan Wolbink

Our esteemed rheumatologist and researcher, Dr. Gertjan Wolbink, was honoured with the prestigious Dutch Rheumatology Award (Nederlandse Reumatologiepenning). This award is a testament to his dedicated service and outstanding contributions to the field of rheumatology over the years.
The award was presented during the Autumn Days of the Dutch Society for Rheumatology and was handed over by the Chair of the NVR, Prof. Dr. Margreet Kloppenburg.
Gertjan has a long track record at Sanquin Research with research interests that majorly revolve around the pathogenesis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, particularly understanding the immunogenicity of biological therapeutics and its implications for patient responses.
