The group of Monika Wolkers at Sanquin Research will develop Til therapy for children with neuroblastoma. This form of pediatric cancer affects young children and a more effective treatment is desperately needed. Sanquin already cultures Tils for melanoma, a form of immunotherapy that proved successful. Supported by a grant from Stichting Kinderen Kankervrij (KiKa) and alongside with dr Judith Wienke of the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor Kinderoncologie Maxima Center, we aim for a better perspective for children with cancer.
