MTM Programme
The Management of Transfusion Medicine programme is a unique, two year programme for current and potential leaders of blood banks in medium- and low income countries.
The MTM programme is a result of the WHO initiative to improve blood supply organizations around the world. The programme was set up in 2004 by the Academic Institute IDTM, and is embedded in the Graduate School of Medical Sciences of the University Medical Center , which falls under the University of Groningen. After graduation, alumni will have the opportunity to make a difference in the quality of blood supply systems of their countries of origin.
After admission, students can start the programme at any given point during the year.
