KIND

The Kinetics of Iron iN Donors (KIND) study was performed to investigate effects of a whole blood donation on iron kinetics, iron absorption and iron incorporation in erythrocytes. Fifty male donors were followed up to 6 months after a donation and a large panel of iron parameters was measured at every time point. Results have been published and the data are available for other studies at Sanquin.
